We have had some inquiries about why the cancellation policy is different from the Italy/Malta Tour.  In 2024 MCM changed the cancellation policy for all tours to be in line with our industry vendor and partner agreements. If the deposit schedule or cancellation policy is a concern for anyone we are more than happy to discuss this with individuals on a case by case basis.  Our goal is always to find a way to accommodate everyone so they are able to participate in our tours.  You will find our contact information on the contact tab.

 

MCM ARTS Culture Path Ltd. strongly recommends purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance to protect individuals against unforeseen circumstances. MCM ARTS Culture Path is not authorized to sell or advise people as to what type of insurance is right for them. MCM ARTS Culture Path strongly suggests people contact an insurance provider for specific policy information and restrictions prior to submitting their payments. MCM ARTS Culture Path 

Cancellation Policy

MCM ARTS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE VIC DIRECTOR WILL CONTINUALLY REVIEW THE NUMBER OF SIGN UPS AND MAKE A DECISION AS TO THE VIABLILITY TO OFFER THE TOUR.

ON MAY 30TH, IF THE TOUR IS DETERMINED BY MCM ARTS AND THE DIRECTOR TO BE NOT VIABLE,  100% OF ALL DEPOSITS WILL BE RETURNED.  

​ Once the trip has been announced as viable, the following are the terms in case a participant decides to cancel their participation: 

  • From May 30, if the trip has been announced as viable, up to and including September 30, 2025, a refund of all tour deposits will be paid less a $500 CAD per person cancellation penalty.

  • From October 1, 2025 all tour deposits are 100% non-refundable

  • MCM ARTS strongly advises everyone to purchase trip cancellation insurance.

Ground cost includes:

  • Ground Transportation as per itinerary

  • Accommodation (based on twin room). Single room supplement is available

  • 11 Breakfasts, 3 dinners and 1 lunch

  • Performances as per itinerary

  • Sightseeing marked as included on the itinerary

  • Every effort will be made to accommodate food allergies and other reasonable food issues

  • The group will be assigned a dedicated tour manager

  • Luggage transportation service provided on train travel days

  • All Taxes & Gratuities

  Ground Cost DOES NOT Include:​​

  • Sightseeing marked as optional (entrance fees, transportation etc)

  • Personal transportation (taxi)

  • International Flights to and from Japan

  • 1 Breakfast, 10 lunches and 9 dinners

  • Passport Fees (It is recommended that everyone have a passport book that is valid for 6 months after the last day of the tour)

  • Excess baggage fees

  • Travel Medical insurance (required)

  • Trip Interruption (required)

  • Cancellation insurance (optional but strongly recommended)

  • Choir Administration Fee (rehearsals)

  • Any extra costs incurred due to trip delay
